V International Flute Festival

General information

- 5th International Flute Festival will take place from 20th to 22nd February 2014 in the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań (at 87 ¦więtyMarcin street, 61-808 Poznań, www.amuz.edu.pl),
- The organizer of the Festival is the Foundation of the Academy of Music in Poznań,
- The partner of the Foundation in the realization of 5th International Flute Festival in Poznań is the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań,
- 5th International Flute Festival takes place within the project: European Flute Forum: culture for integration. Poland – Iceland – Norway 2013-2013, whose beneficiary is the Foundation of the Academy of Music in Poznań,
- Festival inauguration will take place on 20th February 2014 at 09:00 a.m. in Aula Nova of the Academy of Music in Poznań,
- Festival’s participants’ registration will be handled on the day before 5th International Flute Festival inauguration, i.e. on 19th February 2014 from 06:00 p.m. to 08:00 p.m. in the hall of the Academy of Music in Poznań, and on 20th February 2014 from 08:00 a.m. to 09:00 a.m.
- Within 5th International Flute Festival the following events will take place:
- master courses,
- lectures,
- workshops,
- discussion panels,
- concerts performed by the festival’s active participants and lecturers.

- Participation fees:

Due to the fact that the 5th edition of International Flute Festival in the year 2014 is a jubilee edition, we are pleased to invite all participant free of fees.

- Participants’ registration is done by filling in the application form (available at: APPLICATION.doc) Application.doc) and sending it by e-mail to: aberdyszak@amuz.edu.pl or by post to the Academy of Music in Poznań with a note “Flute Festival” (at ul. ¦w. Marcin 87, 61-808 Poznań)

Note: Candidates for active participants and those interested in taking part in the participants’ concerts are requested to enclose a DVD/CD with a recording of their performance of a free program lasting up to 15 minutes.

Application deadlines:

- active participants and candidates interested in taking part in the participants concert on the 21st February 2014
(note: application with enclosed CD/DVD) – 8th December 2013
The number of participants is limited

- passive participants –10th February 2014

- The list of active participants will be available on the festival’s web page www.fluteacademy.eu by 15th January 2014,
- The list of passive participants will be available on the festival’s web page by 15th February 2014,
- All participants (active and passive) will be granted certificates of participation in 5th International Flute Festival (provided the application is sent in due time and registration is completed by the day before the Festival inauguration, and on the condition of participating in the Festival events),
- Certificates will be handed over on the first day of the Festival, and they can be collected only by participants in person. Sending certificates by post is not possible,
- Note: organizers do not provide accompanists for performers of the participants’ concert.
- In the case of resignation from participation in 5th International Flute Festival, the participation fee is not returned,
